About North Hill Montessori

North Hill Montessori School is a non denominational, co-educational private school founded in 2010 following the true methods of the Montessori philosophy in order to meet and exceed the needs of 1.5 to 6 year old children. We are committed to offering a nurturing, friendly, and supportive environment for our students and delivering the highest quality education program. We are a proud member of the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA) and licensed by the Ministry of Child and Youth Services under the Day Nursery Act, and as such are subject to regular inspection, assuring the best for your children. All of our teachers are Montessori certified, and we have a low student to teacher ratio ensuring that each child gets the one-on-one attention they require. In North Hill Montessori School, through the Montessori system, children are able to and assisted in reaching their full physical, mental, emotional and spiritual potential. Following the Montessori philosophy, we place much emphasis upon reading, writing, math, culture, and practical life and sensorial materials. Alongside these, we offer daily French classes, arts and crafts, music, science and technology, and a variety of sports. Please feel free to read more about our after school enrichment programs under the “Programs” tab. Our students are so well prepared that when the time comes for them to graduate and proceed to first grade, they are at a third grade reading, writing, and arithmetic level. North Hill offers year-round registration, camps throughout the holidays, and operates from 7 am to 6 pm daily. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
